Cultured Americana Holiday Tradition: Ornaments Tell Our Stories!

Like with a lot of things this crazy and amazing year, this post is a bit late. However,  I thought I'd go ahead and write it anyway. Today is 3 days after Christmas 2016. The best Christmas of my life as it was my baby girl's first Christmas. I've always loved holiday traditions. With having a little one of my own, I am so excited about sharing my traditions with her and starting new ones. A tradition I have had for many years has been to get ornaments that symbolize great things that have happened during the year. A lot of times I get ornaments when I travel or I pick up ornaments that represent exciting things like my daughter's first Christmas. Here are a few ornaments that mean so much to me and my family! Enjoy!

One of my favorite ornaments. In fact, I keep this out all year long. I got this Pinocchio ornament during my 2014 trip to Italy! This was one of the cheapest souvenirs I purchased and one of my favorites. I believe it was no more than 1 euro!

Mauii! My childhood dog. He has been gone for quite some time but he was one of my oldest friends. I had him from age 9 to 24.
